Play With Precision

Greetings! Vanessa here, and it’s a pleasure for me to share that we’ve added Benefit Cosmetics to our list of clients. As a girl, this is very exciting! I have personally used Benefit products for years; their brow products are especially popular. When I learned we would be traveling to various Ulta and Sephora locations to promote their new product launch, the opportunity came full circle for me.

I shall explain. Last June, I was booked for a photo shoot to promote the upcoming launch of Benefit’s “Precisely, My Brow Wax” and “Precisely, My Brow Detailer.” I thought, what a cool opportunity for someone who had never modeled professionally before. Upon meeting the team, I was impressed of their commitment to the marching band/drumline theme. They explained they wanted to book actual drummers for the shoot in order to maintain authenticity. That’s where the tag line, “Play With Precision,” comes from! I had no idea what the extent of the campaign would be.

Well, the campaign finally launched at the beginning of February, and all of a sudden, my face could be found on Benefit’s Instagram, as well as many Ulta locations around the world! It’s been wonderful to hear from friends and family that they’ve seen my face at their local Ulta’s. You bet I got a taste of the lime light!

The circle became complete when my fellow Sidle cast and I were booked for ELEVEN live performances to further promote the new products. From San Diego to Santa Rosa, we‘re teaming up with Ulta and Sephora staff, as well as visiting Benefit team members, to draw customers into the store and try the new products. I’m happy to report that a drumline in a cosmetics retail space has, so far, been well-received! The custom, pink drum wraps and branded long-sleeve polos are a really fun detail. And the fun don’t stop—below is the schedule of our remaining live performances for Benefit Cosmetics.

March 16th: Macy’s, San Diego

March 16th: Ulta, West Covina

March 23rd: Ulta, Santa Clarita
